Therapy, in general,  seeks to heal emotional challenges like depression and anxiety through communication with a trained professional. Group therapy builds on that foundation by inviting others with similar struggles to gather together to assist one another in solving their problems,  giving and receiving support,  providing a safety net, and most importantly, validating that you're not alone.
